„ Fight for Freedom’s New Horizons Project”

    On Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at 13:00, at the headquarters of the Fight for Freedom Association in Hancea village, no. 320, Verești commune, Suceava county, the information event within the “Fight for Freedom’s New Horizons Project” will take place.The event marks the beginning of an initiative dedicated to the integration of marginalized communities, namely the Roma community in Verești commune (Suceava county) and Movilița commune (Vrancea county).

   The general objective of the project is to promote the socio-economic integration of marginalized communities, namely at least 141 Roma children and 141 Roma parents from the two   targeted communities.Through this project, the aim is to prevent early school leaving and to increase access and participation in education for disadvantaged groups.

    The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund, under the Education and Employment Programme 2021–2027, and is implemented by the Fight for Freedom Association.

The implementation period is 24 months: 01.10.2025 – 30.09.2027.

The total value of the project is 2,176,491.52 lei.

 During the event, information and awareness-raising measures regarding the education of Roma students will be presented. These include educational support, mentoring, parental counseling, and cultural programs. Through these activities, the project contributes to reducing the risk of school dropout, early school leaving, and improving the level of education among the target groups.
